Examinations and Consultations are provided for our valued patients during pre-scheduled  appointment times. After checking your mouth and discussing your needs a treatment plan will be prepared and presented for you.

X-rays show the dental staff and the patient,  problems that may exist that are not obvious with visual inspection.  In our office we use digital x-rays. These are  computer generated images that appear on monitors almost instantly and are an essential part of every examination.

Cleanings are provided by our hygienists with the use of ultrasonic instrumentation to effectively remove deposits from teeth. Following this scaling procedure a polishing agent is used to give a high luster to tooth enamel. Home care instruction is offered for proper brushing and flossing techniques.

Bonding to close spaces, repair fractures, and to mask discolorations in enamel is easily performed with this cosmetic technique. This procedure can usually be performed without the use of anesthetic. With our imaging camera, patients can view a simulation before beginning this reversible procedure.

Veneers are thin facings that are bonded to existing teeth. They can be used to change the size, shape and color of your natural teeth. The difference between veneers and bonding, as stated above, is that only a plastic composite material is used for bonding, whereas veneers are porcelain restorations that are bonded to the teeth.

Root Canal Treatments are performed using a rotary instrumentation  technique. Most teeth can be treated in one visit. With mechanical techniques and digital x-rays, this procedure is much more efficient than our techniques of years ago.

Cosmetics ~ Cosmetic dentistry can provide beautiful teeth through the use of caps, crowns,  veneers, porcelain and composite restorations.  All of these procedures can be performed in our office.

Fillings for decayed  teeth can be  provided with  different materials, including porcelain,  composite, gold or silver.  Porcelain is our most innovative, durable and natural looking restoration. Composite is an enamel colored, resin material which is bonded to the tooth. 18K gold can be used to restore teeth. A combination of silver and mercury can be used to fill teeth, a procedure that has been used successfully for many years.

Crowns ~ Teeth that cannot be repaired with conventional fillings as described above can be crowned. Crowns are constructed of either gold, a porcelain and gold combination, or all porcelain.

Bridges are used to replace missing teeth. They can be removable or fixed.  Fixed bridges are cemented to natural teeth, implants, or a combination of both.  Removable bridges are easily inserted and removed.

Bleaching teeth to a lighter brighter color is increasing in popularity today. Most of the members of our office staff bleach their teeth, and can give enlightening information about brighter smiles with home bleaching kits.

Sealants are protective coatings that are easily applied to the grooves and fissures on the enamel surfaces of healthy teeth. Sealing these areas prevents decay causing bacteria from invading the tooth.

Bite guards are removable appliances that are used for different purposes. Some patients have an excessive amount of wear on the chewing surfaces of natural teeth. This can sometimes be caused by either conscious or unconscious grinding. This appliance protects the teeth from this abrasive process.
TMJ discomfort can often be relieved with the use of bite guards.

Extractions ~ Most extractions can be performed in our office, however some teeth require surgical removal by a specialist.

Dentures ~ We strive to provide natural looking  dentures using characterized gum material bonded to either porcelain or plastic teeth that best suit the patients needs.

Removable Partials are appliances used to replace a few missing teeth. They are constructed of plastic or a combination of metal and plastic.
